Tram of Love
Recently Ukraine has got a Tram of Love. The municipal authorities in Zaporizhia decided to put into operation such an unusual vehicle as a gift by the St. Valentine’s Day. A 30-year-old tram carriage was decorated all over by local graffiti artists into colorful hearts, lips and declarations of love. In order to create this “master piece” the artists spent a night and 80 containers of paint of 30 colors. On February 14, kisses were the only fare for a ride in the tram
The City Mayor, Yevgeniy Kartashov, said that decoration of trams may become another good tradition in Zaporizhia. He promised that, if citizens don’t have objections, by May 9 in Zaporizhia may appear Tram of Victory (May 9 is celebrated as Victory Day in Ukraine).
