AeroSvit, one of the biggest Ukrainian airline companies, has informed about the reduction of number and frequency of some international and domestic flights in connection with the low demand on air tickets.
According to the AeroSvit public relations manager, Vladimir Gaydash, the company reduced frequency of flights (per week) to Larnaca, Cyprus from 3 to 2 times; to Istanbul, Turkey from 9 to 7 times; to Athens, Greece from 5 to 4 times; to Stockholm, Sweden from 5 to 3 times. Meantime, AeroSvit abolished flights to Shanghai, now passengers may fly only to Beijing. The domestic flights within Ukraine also saw several changes. Thus, there was abolished the flight Kyiv-Uzhorod-Kyiv and reduced frequency of flights to Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv and Chernivtsy.
