Kiev Photo Fest
The third “KievFotoCom” Festival will start working in the period of October - November in Kiev. During this Festival of Photography, works of famous photographers from the USA, Mexico, the Netherlands, Chile, Poland, Lithuania, Russia and Ukraine will be represented and open for mass audience. The program of the festival also includes a series of master-classes for lovers of photography, which will be held by professional photographers. All educational classes are free for public.
The KievFotoCom Festival started operating in 2006. Since that year it is performed annually, in autumn, in Kiev, Ukraine.
The main purpose of the Photography festival is to introduce Ukraine into the context of modern visual art by acquainting the audience with World photography art.
In 2008, the general topic for all exhibitions in frame of main event of «KievFotoCom» is considered to be “Threshold”.
