According to annual questioning data, conducted by one of the largest travel agencies Expedia, Japanese are recognized to be the best tourists. More than 4000 hotel owners worldwide took part in the questioning.

They evaluated the tourists from different countries by several criteria: behavior, bounty, accuracy, desire to speak local language, interest to local kitchen, manner to dress, and so on. The Japanese turned out to be the most decent tourists and have topped the list. The tourists from Great Britain turned out to take the second place, and the German travelers took the third place. They are followed by Canadians and Swiss.

Americans have occupied the 11th place, though by two criterions - desire to learn several everyday phrases on local language and interest to local kitchen - they are found on the first. French, Chinese and Japanese tourists show the smallest interest to the language of the country which they visit.

Russians are recognized the most generous and yield only tourist from USA and Canada to go first. The most fashionable and stylish are French and Italian tourists, the Americans, in the opinion of respondents, dress without taste.
